The tradition of home grown wines.

Today on our farm we grow a range of red wine varieties such as Pinot Noir and the indigenous varieties, Vernatsch (Schiava) and Lagrein. Our white wine varieties are Gewürztraminer, Müller-Thurgau and Sauvignon. We supply our grapes to Bolzano to the private Malojer-Gummerhof cellars. We also press a small quantity of our grapes ourselves, so that we do not lose the tradition of making our own wines and so that our guests can enjoy the wine that is grown and produced here.
Our reds.
A light red wine, delicate floral scent.
South Tyrol’s oldest grape variety. The wine is powerful, with aromas of plums, blackberries, cherries, violets, liquorice and mocha. Deep dark colour.
Pinot Noir
The most valuable and probably oldest grape variety is grown in many countries around the globe. The style of wines ranges from light and subtle to sensually elegant with flavours such as raspberry, strawberry, cherry, mint, violets, beetroot and cedar.
Our whites.
Previously known as Liebfraumilch (Our Lady’s Milk), this wine was cloyingly sweet. Today, however, lively and fresh, light wines are produced, with flavours such as nutmeg, herbs, wild flowers and lychee.
A very old South Tyrolean variety. The wine is full, spicily fragrant and exotic with flavours such as rose, cinnamon and fresh grapes.
A fine white wine with flavours such as elder, cassis, gooseberries, cut grass, nettles.

Provided by nature, produced with care.

Thanks to the mild, Mediterranean climate, a lot grows and flourishes on our farm. A wide range of varieties of fruit such as peaches, cherries, plums, figs, quinces, apples, currants, nuts and chestnuts, to mention just a few, flourish here, as do many varieties of vegetables and herbs. As we value our home-grown ingredients very highly, everything is consumed fresh or turned into products.
